I thought she was so lovely when she played Olivia, the mountain mom on "The Waltons" but yikes! Look what she's done to herself!

Well, at least she looks perpetually surprised.

I saw her perform in a play at the Dorothy Chandler (or one of those playhouses downtown) many years ago, and at the time I recall thinking that she was aging well. I guess she must have changed her mind.

If you line up all these puppet faced women they look the same. Like there was mold they smashed onto their faces.
SO yucky and I can't believe they think they look good. I guess they do it little by little so don't notice the huge change like we do when we see them normal then this. ACK

Wow, that definitely is not a change for the good. She's starting to look as scary as Phyllis Diller.

If my memory were any worse, I could plan my own surprise party

Maybe she didn't like the way she looked as she got older. Nothing wrong with that. If I had the money I'd have something done to my face, my eyes pulled back or something. I don't know, I've seen a lot worse, she doesn't look THAT bad.

I would do a little tweaking too if I had the money BUT, I don't want to look like that (and many other women who have gone way too far)

Why oh why do women do this to themselves?

Those who forget the past force the rest of us to repeat it.

That's just sad. I agree if you have the money and want to do some modest surgery, go for it. But to pay and end up looking like that is just not right. I think that if she went to court and sued the doctor, the jury would be really sympathetic. I know I would.

You would of thought that she would know which surgeon would have done a good job.
It would have been easy I would think for her to find out who did good jobs on other
stars. Not One who did that to her beautiful face.

Like annulla I think she was lovely when she played Livey (sp) Walton.

I think she looks so much older then 71 years old.
