Does your dog sleep upside down?
I just looked in the crate and Payton is sleeping upside down. I also noticed last week he was on the floor sleeping the same way. He's a very naughty puppy who's always getting into trouble so I like when he sleeps no matter what position he's in. His nap time is my sweeping time.

No, my dogs usually sleep on their side or lying on their stomach.

Normally both my dogs do this although in the past month or so, my "big" dog who is about 70lbs has been sleeping in my "little" dog who is about 25lbs bed...both have their very own beds and hopefully you can see these pictures - I posted one of Bella in the little bed and both sleeping in their own beds.

This is the first time I am trying to post pictures so please PM if it doesn't work!

Dogs will sleep on their backs when they feel very secure in their environment...but just because yours don't doesn't mean they don't feel secure. Both of mine would roll over onto their backs and sleep from time to time especially if the ceiling fan was on and it was hot outside. LOL They liked the cool air on their tummies and the occasional tummy rub from Mom.

Huck, our white collie, does quite often. Patch, our white boxer, never does.

Yep, my 2 Golden Retrievers sleep on their backs with their legs spread apart. Life is good when you're a canine!
