We just had a foot of snow here in Asheville this last friday/saturday and we have the same forecast for THIS Friday/Saturday. This is probably the snowiest winter this area has seen in 30 years. We've had TWO storms that have dumped over a foot and a half dozen storms that have brought us snow and we've still have half of the winter left! I feel for you. Good thing is we're all starting to get used to it though. Poor kids will probably lose their spring break because of the snow days.

Are we really? Weather channel didn't say anything this morning, but DD came home from school saying she heard about it.

Our weather was clear sailing for the week and through next week, but our weather forecasters are never right until the day after.

Good grief!

Hey Brushes, I will keep my fingers crossed that this storm tracks just a little bit more north for you. I see from the diagram it stops at the Madcowchusetts border.

You're welcome.

Oh, goody gumdrops. I'm in the "potentially paralyzing" area of the storm. ENOUGH ALREADY!!

I've really had enough of it myself, but here we go again! The only bright sides to this are that a) my husband is home this winter, he won't be next winter and b) the flowers will probably put on a great show this spring/summer.

Everyone hang in there, stock up on munchies and good movies!

I am right with you. I work a few miles from Atlantic City. Not only are we getting a storm Saturday but also Tuesday another one comes along. Its good for the company where I work as we do snow removal. The paperwork alone will keep me busy for days and there will be lots of money for the company!

If it tracks a little bit north, I will be in potentially paralyzing and so will you. I don't want that.

I'm right with you--not really ready for it...off to the grocery store on Thursday. 8 miles south of Asbury Park NJ.
