Bank of America mortgage? Where to find tax forms?
Apparently BOA doesn't feel like mailing tax forms this year... I received an email that they're available online, but I've spent hours trying to find them with no luck. The instructions say:

Quote:
You can view these documents online and print them for the 2009 Tax filing year. Simply log on to www.bankofamerica.com and select Account Details, Statements and look for the Year End statements section. Select the form link to this year's statement.
There are no such links! I contacted customer service online but haven't heard back yet, and am anxious to get my taxes finished up.

Any BOA customers here successfully find the tax forms online?

I actually just got my form in the mail today, so maybe yours is coming. I tried to get the online forms yesterday, to no avail, so I was thrilled to get the mail today. Good luck.

Oh, thank goodness. I'll look forward to checking the mail. Thanks!

BOA needs to hire some usability peeps to go over their web site. I just found what looked like a promising tax FAQ link for the question "How can I view and print my paper statements?" The link goes to a page that doesn't even include the answer! Frustrating.

We got ours in yesterdays mail.

closer to when he is not. To know him is to dislike him.

We have BOA mortgage and have not received a tax statement yet either. I'm still waiting on a 1099 from a win, so we're not ready to do our taxes yet anyway.
But I did go on the BOA website and find our tax info. I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for, but after signing in I clicked on View options next to my mortgage balance, then view account details, then Services tab, under account information click on Get tax information, and it has the last three years of my tax info there. And a print link.

I wonder what the holdup is in sending out the statements?

Weird... it seems like other people are seeing more options than I am when logged into the BOA web site. All I can do is pay bills, change some personal settings, and view balance sheets.

I wonder if it's because my mortgage was originally through Countrywide and was recently switched over to BOA?

Mine came with my January statement. My January statement also came with an escrow adjustment statement because our taxes went up again(we were just re-assessed). I have a new payment amount starting March 1(Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy).

I was recently switched from Countrywide also.

I was switched from Countrywide recently, also. I have paperless billing, so that may be why my tax statement hasn't arrived.

I never asked for paperless billing but they stopped sending me paper statements several months ago anyway. I recently got one for my HELOC, though.

I'm going to hang tight until the end of the week and if nothing arrives in the mail, then I'll start to make calls!

Same here. Go to www.countrywide.com and it will prompt you through to BOA with all the info. The tax info is available online.

Also, I got my tax info but it was basically on the back of a regular monthly statement, so you may have missed it.

Tried that too but it just took me back to the regular BOA login.

Not even dealing with it today... just sat through an 8-hour meeting and I am crank-eeeeeeee!!!!

Thanks for all the help, guys.

I received a reply to the question I asked their online support -- posting it in case anyone is interested. Apparently it's my location that makes what I see different than what some of you are seeing.

Quote:
Thank you for your message regarding the Online 1098 form for your mortgage.
We appreciate the opportunity to assist you.

Please be advised that mortgages that are set up on Washington or Idaho
Online Banking does not have the ability to print or view the 1098 forms.

If you would like to have this option, you will need to enroll your mortgage
in Online Banking Mortgage Access Only. This will provide you with another
Bank of America Online Banking Profile that is separate from the rest of your
accounts. Also please be advised that this information will be mailed to the
address we currently have on file.
