2010 Travelling Troll Thread

Today NeanderTroll, Jebus, ProfessorTroll and Plex decided to take a Sunday drive since it was so nice out today - it was nearly 60 degrees in MN!

The only destination they had in mind was Kelly's Kitchen for somethin' good to eat. Very little snow is left on the ground and most lakes are still frozen over - but I wouldn't take a 4-wheeler out on any of the lakes around here like we saw one person do today. We ended up crossing the mighty Mississippi river 3 times to get to Kelly's!

Baked ordered the Alamo Omelet - a Denver omelet made into a sammich. It's supposed to be 'the best damn omelet this side of the Mississippi' - Baked said it was AWESOME! I had an Eggs Benedict - unlike the one I had yesterday at a different restaurant that made theirs with deli ham and cheese sauce - this one was made the right way with Canadian bacon and Hollandaise sauce. It was yum yum yummmmmmmy!



If you're ever in the Palisades area Kelly's is the place to eat! Kelly's 'Sue Chef' ROCKS!




On the drive home we saw an Army helicopter -

About a block away we saw a big bear -











Now it's time to rest up - NeanderTroll has a busy day tomorrow cuz we are the champions!

NeanderTroll and Jebus arrive at the theater at 8:30am. The stage was empty - but not for long.



NeanderTroll and Jebus look at the truck and tour bus. They were amazed at how much stuff can fit in one truck.



They brought their own lights and sound system along with the staging and instruments.



Lights! Lights! And lots more lights!



Most of the quipment is set up - you can see Baked on the right supervising -

NeanderTroll and Jebus were a bit disappointed when everybody walked out of their sound check -



Since NeanderTroll and Jebus weren't cut out to sing they decided to buy a ticket to the show to see and hear a real singer.

After buying their tickets I didn't see them for awhile - they apparantly snuck back to the green room -

On with the show. One Night Of Queen ROCKED! Gary Mullen sounded and acted amazingly like Freddie Mercury!

Me and NeanderTroll snuck down closer to the stage - I think Jebus was a bit afraid so he stayed up in his seat -

Inky made it to Texas yesterday!

Here she is riding with me to work this morning.

She helped with some paperwork, took a look at the new corporate facility and then I don't know what happened. First the scarf came off and then...

I turned my back and she disappeared! I found her in the bathroom.. Playing with the automatic faucets I think. Then she went for a ride in the mail cart! I think she was trying to take a copy of her butt... Who told her how to do that???

Then she found my boss's office! And his little friend. Not sure why he is smiling like that, but I didn't ask.

She got away from me one more time and decided to skinny dip in the water fountain. I had to scoop her up and get out before security found us.

I had one more trip to Target to make, but I kept her safe in the car this time.
