Are you baking today?
I love the day before Thanksgiving! Baking is theraputic for me and the house smells so good. I have 2 pumpkin cheesecakes and a plain one in the oven right now. Baked brownies and spice cake this morning. Yesterday was candy day, and it was sooooo not as much fun. 4 dozen buckeyes and 4 pounds of fudge. What a mess!
Happy Thanksgiving all!

we all have our unlovely moments

No baking at all this Thanksgiving. The only thing getting baked is the turkey. The apple pie we're having is already cooked, so no problem there. I can't wait to bake when Christmas comes, though!

Making fresh dough for a pizza today. Looking for a low sugar pecan pie recipe, with no luck so far. Going to make the butternut squash and the creamed onions today. Will make the pumpkin bread and the pumpkin pie too. Hope to make a blueberry and applie pie too.

So, if anyone has a low sugar pecan pie, please post here. Thanks!

Wishing & hoping & thinking & praying, planning & dreaming... and entering!

Nope but my sister in law and twin brother are cooking this year. I sort of wished that I was cooking just not everything.

I am getting ready to go to my mom's, I am making cornbread and regular bread stuffing, cherry cheesecake, the pies, pumpkin and cherry, pineapple upside down cake, I didn't realize how many desserts there were till now, maybe I will cut a pie or the cake.

I am also making the Pioneer womans make ahead mashed potatos and boiling the eggs for deviled eggs and making up the greenbean casserole to just pop in the oven tomorrow.

I baked quick breads yesterday because my son's high school is having a bake sale after school today at the local market. I stopped by earlier and bought one of the breads I made.

We had our big meal with my mom last night. She made a homemade apple cake with praline topping ,sweetened with agave instead of white sugar. OMG it was so freakin good.

The turtle pumpkin pie requires no baking. My mom will have to bake a crust for the chocolate pie. Otherwise, everything will get done tomorrow.

I just popped in a Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, Pecan and Apple Caramel Dutch pies into my oven.

The Sweet Potato and Pecan pies will be delivered in the morning to two different elderly couples that live in our building.

DD is baking her Pumpkin Cheesecake this evening.
