question about blog contest

i never entered the blog contests,but i thought i would start.what do you do,just post a comment on most of the blogs,and thats it?

Every one is different. Find ones with prizes you want, read the post, and see what the required entry is. It's usually more than just "enter me please."

A lot of times they will have you go to the website and come back and make a comment, but they make it clear what they want you to do...

Honestly, I used to dread blog sweeps. My best friend talked me into trying for a couple of weeks, and wow at the stuff I won! Very nice items.

A rule of thumb we follow for when we enter is that we'd rather it be hosted by a company. And I try to submit as many entries as I can.

I hated blog sweeps, now I enter, win, AND host! lol Go figure huh.
