Thumbs up Clear Your DNS Cache to Protect Your Privacy..
Did you realize that the DNS cache on your computer is tracking everything you do, even if you use Google Chrome’s "Private Browsing" mode? Simply use this command line to view everything in the cache:

ipconfig /displaydns

Then use this one to flush it:

ipconfig /flushdns

Copy "ipconfig /flushdns"

Go to "Run" on the "Start" menu

Paste "ipconfig /flushdns" into the box

Press "Enter"

There is no confirmation

How often should we do this?

I typed in the first command (display) to view what is in the cache, and a box comes up, but it closes right away before I can read anything.

I haven't tried the flush command yet, since I was curious to see what was in the cache.

Are you putting the quotations marks in the box, too? Don't use the quotations, see if works.

Nope - didn't use quotation marks.

Interesting that the box flashes the cache so fast you can't read it. And just wondering if we use the flush command if it's erased. I used the flush command and no text confirmation appeared.

Unless DNS is on your local machine, and you're using a router, I don't see how flushing DNS is going to help.

Anybody who wants to see your DNS server (SEE, NOT CHANGE), do this:

Go to start, run, type in cmd, and then type in ipconfig /all

OR you can go to start, settings, network connections, double-click local area connections, go to properties, select TCP/IP, properties, and look at the preferred DNS server.
