Smile How do you usually find out that you've won?
Hi!

I'm new to sweeping but have entered around 100 since yesterday, it's addicting!

I'm just wondering how these companies let you know you've won.

Like e-mail, call, letter? I imagine for a grand prize it would usually be a phone call?

Also do a lot of you just get prizes in the mail without even knowing beforehand that you won? That seems extremely exciting to me. hahaha! thanks!

Sometimes you find out by calls, sometimes e-mails, letters, certified letters, FedEx, UPS, and sometimes a package just shows up in your mail!

It's a variety of ways. Sometimes you will get a "surprise" win of something you won in a contest you entered months and months ago and the "fulfillment" company just got around to sending it out.

Welcome to OLS and GL (good luck) Here's some fairy dust for good luck.

Welcome! About half of my wins have just shown up without any notice. Surprise wins have ranged from a DVD to a $250 gift card. The rest have been email notifications, often requiring a response from me in a short amount of time. I have only had 2 phone calls, one for a $800 prize and the other for a DVD twin pack! So you never know. Just be sure to carefully check your email often.

Wishing you lots of luck!

Good luck to you!

Excluding local wins, I have only received one winning phone call and that was for a 2007 Chevy Silverado 4x4!!!

Most were letters or email.

Welcome to OLS!

Most of my win notifications have been through email. I've had 2 phone calls and a few prizes that showed up unannounced.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reminder! I haven't done this in a while and I found myself on the Family Groove winners' list of a very cute sun hat for a baby girl. I haven't seen it yet, but hopefully it will arrive soon!

As for win notifications, most of mine have been instants, but I have had a few surprise affys and prizes in the mail. I would echo that it is definitely worth it to pay for the premium membership.

Good luck and welcome to OLS!

I have been sweeping for about 6 months and have had most notifications come via email, but then again I enter a lot of blog sweeps. I did get an awesome prize pack from the Ellen Show randomly show up last month. Oh and a few of those "daily" wins from magazines that magically showed up as well. No phone calls yet.

Be sure to go green. Best investment I ever made and boy does it pay for itself.
