You do not have a digital ID error message in Windows Mail.
I was trying to send an email just a few minutes ago and received this message:
You do not have a digital ID. If you send this message it will be sent properly but you will not be able to read it in your sent items folder. Send anyway?

I went to a microsoft web forum to find help followed the instructions on how to fix it and I still have the message no matter what I do. So I tried to send the email anyway and it won't even let me do that:

Windows Mail was unable to locate the digital IDs of the following recipients:

xxx@yahoo.com digital ID is missing

You can choose to send this message without encrypting it, or you can cancel sending this message.

Don't Encrypt Cancel

I have never had this problem before. This is the email I use for sweeps so if I can't use it anymore I guess I'll just use it by signing into the gmail site.

That's what I did and it didn't work. When I hit apply it's like I didn't. You know how usually when you click apply it no longer lets you press it, well that doesn't happen when I press it. It's as if nothing happened.
