I'm speechless. Found this link on one of my photo websites - what is this world coming to?

I thought "My Sweet 16" show on MTV was a sure sign of the coming apocalypse and decline of human civilization, but this was even worse...

The article says they are travellers. They are probably devout Catholics. Travellers tend to marry young and say married for life. While I agree it was tacky and way over-the-top, I would place bets they remain married.

What bugs me is that dear ol' Dad probably was able to save that money up by dodging taxes and living for free on public lands in his caravan. I also want to know why the girl hasn't been in school since she was nine.

people live on public/private lands and dodge taxes/rent etc here also, I was in Maine a couple of months ago and at one of the local Wal-marts there was a camper on blocks! he came and went and parked his car right next to it!

the wedding dress is horrid btw.

The mom looks like she will probably be a grandma before 30 (or 35) years old.
