Yippee!
I received my Absentee Ballot today. This is where the rubber meets the road. I get to vote. Despite the often rude, and more often than not grade school attacks from the left, my one vote counts as much as anyone elses. Voting is where one's opinion really matters. This is my "golden ticket". It will probably take me the weekend to make my decisions on the rest of the ballot, but I should have my vote for McCain/Palin in the mail on Monday. Also wanted to mention I live in Virginia, I vote in Florida. There is a "Florida Marriage Protection Amendment"-here's the rub "This amendment protects marriage as the legal union of only one man and one woman..." Please and Thank You.

I went to my local republican office this week and picked up a couple of McCain/Palin bumper stickers. My daughter has a new car and didn't want to stick a bumper sticker directly on it, so I went to Michael's and found some magnet sheets that were just a little bit bigger than the bumper sticker itself. One side is magnetized and the other side has a sticky adhesive on it, so I just placed the bumper sticker on the adhesive side, cut the excess off, and VOILA! ...instant magnetized bumper sticker!

I don't remember the brand name of the magnets I bought at Michael's (ProMag, maybe?) but they were 2.49 each and were with all the other magnet products there. So if you're wanting a bumper sticker but would prefer a magnetized one, give this a try.

Thank you, BiloxiNative!
I have a couple of bumper stickers I want to use, but have been wondering how they would come off....I've never used bumper stickers before! But, I will definitely try this!

GREAT idea! I have never been able to commit to tatooes or bumper stickers...lol.

On an even lighter note, I have finally named my new cat. We are calling her Palin...she is a barracuda, just like Sarah...

Very clever idea. Hate those bumper stickers because the are so hard to get off. Now I can decorate my car with McCain/Palin and not worry. Thanks so much for shareing your idea.

Another way to remove stickers of any kind is to us a hair dryer or heat gun. Warm them the sticker up. When the sticker gets warm (not hot) they peel right off. This works well with things you buy from a store and you have problems getting a price tag off or label, but also works well with bumper stickers and it usually leaves no glue resin

This is great...I watched most of it streaming online...she really sparked that group while she was speaking.

Vote pbs poll on palin
Did y'all vote yet on the PBS poll about Sarah? I know some of you don't like to visit the political forums here, but I have been there off and on.

Voted, thanks for the link and thanks for the advice on the car stickers I had mine propped up in the back window because I didn't want to put it on the car and not be able to get it off, but will try this!
