I just love going to work.....NOT

I have posted before that I have a co-worker who is the biggest A$$HOLE I have ever met.
2 weeks ago, our boss retired. The higherups have yet to inform us about a new boss and what changes are going to come. So for the last 10 days, this AH has made an even more spectacle of himself, running his mouth off, yelling at other employees (from other departments!), etc. It's just such a joy to go into work everyday knowing that I have to deal with this guy. Well, today he was in one of his lovely moods bitching because one of our co-workers was off. Later in the day of few other employees came in and we were sitting around talking about stuff going on the news. A few of the guys start talking and of course the scandal in New York is the hot topic. This idiot actually opens his mouth and says 'They think they had a problem with the last one. This one is black and blind!' I about bit my tongue off. I just sat there boiling mad at my computer. I wanted to say something, but I wasn't really a part of that conversation. So I just kept talking with my group. One of my friends has told me I need to need to get a tape recorder and start recording his antics. He has made comments like that in the past. He is such a racist pig. I really hope, if and when we get a new boss, that things will change. I am trying to get out of that department a fast as I can, but it's been hard with the hiring freeze.

David Paterson is a well respected politician in NY as was his father, Basil Paterson.

I hope Karma bites this AH in the A**! If you are still around him when it happens, please let
us know.

The really sad part is that there are so many more like him out there....

I would have been so tempted to stick my nose in that conversation and ask him very nicely "oh please, do explain why you feel a blind black man would be more trouble than "the last one"" and have everyone stare him down waiting for his answer. Because frankly, I would very interested in knowing why the hell he would even think such a thing, no less SAY it outloud!!!

Sometimes you have to confront people like that, in a crowd, so that they have to explain themselves. Besides it proves to all what a complete jerk the fool really is!!!

Perhaps your next boss will be African-American, (or whatever the current PC term is), and your bigoted co-worker will quit or get himself fired.

You don't know how bad I wanted to jump up and say something. But sometimes telling or saying something to this idiot is a waste of valuable oxygen! It doesn't matter how big of a fool you make him out to be he just continues to do it. But on the bright side, he is showing his A$$ more and more to fellow co-workers here on campus. It is just a matter of time before he says something to the wrong person and his is reported. In fact we have lost customers because of this idiot. A few people that I deal with on our downtown campus, will only talk to me when they call because of his attitude. One of them is documenting his rudeness of when he answers the phone or fills an an order improperly ( he always sends her the wrong things!) and sending it to the big boss. We'll see what happens.
