Many of you are already familiar with how this works but I'm gonna go ahead and post some reminder directions for those of you that are new to this! Okay--so here goes:
I will choose a specific topic for each round! For example, the topic for a specific round might be pens! Anyone that is interested in participating will reply to the thread and then PM me their full name and mailing address. Please understand that if you are indeed the winner of a round that your information must be shared with your fellow participants. There is a deadline for sign-ups for that round (this info is included in the thread title) and when or after that deadline arrives I will choose a winner via computer randomizer and everyone that signed up will send that winner the specific item for that particular round. In the aforementioned example, for instance...if 50 people signed up then the winner would receive pens from 49 other people. It's an awesome way for the winner to get lots of prizes and lots of snailmail as well!
Please use simple common courtesy and send something of the quality that you would enjoy receiving in return--do NOT by any means send half used items, etc.! The winner, however, is 100% responsible for posting in the thread whom they have received prizes from--please be as prompt as possible at this as it makes the whole "transaction" move in a much more organized fashion! If you are consistently found to be participating and not sending your prize you will certainly be disqualifed from participating in future rounds without exception! Once a round is completed we will post yet another round!Don't forget--if you sign up you must PM me your full name and mailing address! If you have participated previously then I will still have your info so long as it has not changed since that period of time!
Also, you are not obligated to join every round; sign-ups start over each time!
AND...as monotonous as it may seem I am going to stay with the $5 gift card theme at this particular time!
It has been very popular and seems to have become a real "status quo" of this particular "game." I think it is fitting as it is something that anyone can make use of! The winner will choose 3 stores that they will receive $5 gift cards from; these must be easily accessible options such as WalMart, Target, Amazon, Ebay, Old Navy, Barnes & Noble, etc. This prize is subject to change for future rounds of WTA and I would love everyone to PM me their suggestions for this--I've gotten some really good ones so far!The deadline for sign-ups for this round will be 10PM EST on 12/13.
