Grandmother abandon's grandchild on side of road
http://www.valdostadailytimes.com/lo...277233021.html

This was on the front page of our local newspaper today. This makes me SICK! Thank God someone found the baby and called the cops!

An unattended baby found along a busy highway last week has led to the arrest of a woman suspected of leaving the child stranded.

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!

that is absolutely insane!
I am so glad the baby was safe, and is back with his mother, I wonder why the grandmother had custody in the first place, if she was unstable, and the mother was capable of caring for the child?
poor kids, I feel very sad for them!

How terrible, I just don't understand how someone could do such a thing. Just sickening.

18 months , they can walk , crawl ... It was in your -know- whos - hands that nothing happened to that child...

I hope the young mom can do better, but she was raised by this idiot , so please pray for that little one and siblings invovled !

My roommate's mother put him out by the side of the road when he was 2 1/2. Of course she later married her Uncle so you're not talking great judgement here...

I want room service!

An Omaha woman is accused of abandoning her 2-year-old daughter by the side of a north Omaha street Thursday.

Witnesses in the Taco Bell at 7516 N. 30th St. told officers that a woman was seen about 1:30 p.m. leaving a little girl across the street and walking away, a police press release said.

Of all the places to leave a baby! If she felt overwhelmed or whatever at least leave the child at a police station, hospital, or somewhere safe where the baby would have been found for sure.

How could you leave a little baby by the side of the road!

As a grandmother, I can't even begin to comprehend this. Very sad.
