Iran not ready to make nice..

Iran Claims It Is Ready To Attack 600 Israeli Targets

(IsraelNN.com) Iran's missile power can strike 600 Israeli targets, Gulf nations reported Sunday. The report was issued shortly after the United States claimed that its troops in Iraq discovered 50 Iranian-made rocket launchers aimed at an American army base.

Officials also said that soldiers discovered hundreds of suicide belts smuggled from Syria, which has denied the charges.

Wonder what our Congress has to say about this bit of news? Perhaps they don't care so long as they are safe in their beds at night. Mark my words...if they continue to think by leaving this region to resolving its own problems that the United States will be safer, they are sadly mistaken. The day may come in the not too distant future when we discover long range rockets aimed at us by those we thought were too far away to do us any real harm.

JUST MY OPINION...
When one encounters a poisonous snake you need to cut off its head quickly. If you encounter more than one then you need to find the nest from which it broods and destroy them all.

The U.S. has had missiles pointed towards Iran for several years now. Diplomacy works better than missiles, it's too bad that the current administration doesn't know anything about diplomacy.

In other words we need to destroy the rest of the world. You should join the Bush administration, they love people that think the same way you do.

I bet they thought of that. But then who would make all the cheap imported stuff that all the Bushco companies get rich off? Certainly not Americans.

So I am just curious what exactly do you all think will happen when President Bush will be out of office? Do you think magicly all will be well when the Democrats have their chance? Do you think we will just pull out of Iraq and we will be left alone and no one will bother usor will we have diplomatic talks and problem solved?

Give me your thoughts I hear a lot of bashing but tell me what happens next

Just curious, but do you think that if we stay in Iraq for the projected 10 year span that things are going to be all nicey-nicey, and they are going to throw flowers at our soldiers feet when they then leave? Do you think that the present plan is working and improving the situation for the Iraqui people, and our soldiers ? Do you think we are safer with our main military on another continent, rather than protecting our homeland? Do you know anything about the history of the Middle-East other than what you read in the Bible? What happened when we pulled out of Viet-Nam? Sis they survive? Did we survive? If you are so worried about Al-Quida coming over here, then you must think they are undefeatable!
Just curious. You know!

Okay,1) bring our military home 2) Improve our national security 3) Prepare ourselves for emergency situations 4) Rebuild our military and give them the best equipment and training
in insugency warfare 5) Rebuild our faith in our government and each other, and NEVER again resort to fear to divide our people because no nation can stand strong if their peoples are divided 6) Then if we hawe to return to fight in the Middle-East at least we will be ready, one and all, and if these conditions are met, I can assure you that no-one will balk about it, because it will not be determined by one individual but by the whole nation! Thus we will survive!

Keep in mind this was published by Arutz Sheva. A news outlet that makes Fox look like left wing socialists. Just FYI

OK out of respect to your age because you are aabout the same age as my dad I will answer and I will be going to bed soon no I do not think that everything will be nicey nice when our troops leave Iraq and I am not so afraid of terrorist that I think we need to stay there but I will say I think we are dealing with a much more radical groop who are not afraid to die for their religious beliefs but like I said what do you think the next president will do differently instead of complaining about what you don't like what can be done differently and yes I do know some of the history of the people in the midle East

Perhaps this is the answer but I just don't know for sure honestly. As a nation who in my opinion is still #1 we have always been there for other nations look what might have been if we had not helped the jews that is what we do we help others. These are great ideas you mention here and hopefully the next administration can do something along these lines

Evidently you don't read-- I told you what the nest president will do, and that wasn't a complaint! Just the neccessary steps to improving our world and making us safer!
So what are your ideas on the next president?

Firstly yes I do read you had posted while I was commenting and please try and not be so rude I have shown you respect perhaps you could do the same.

I really don't know what our next step should be but I do not think it would be wise to pull the troops out now I also think there are more issues to think about like North Korea and Iran with this much activity involving neuclear weapons I think it is a much more dangerous world we live in

Look FDR was a very respected president. He made mistakes and everything, but the people loved him because they felt he cared about them, and he inspired them to do better, and to believe in our country, and in each other. And the statement "We have nothing to fear but fear itself" was made during rebuilding from depression, but it is still applicable today! He always gave people the one thing they needed, faith in ourselves and our country. And although he drug his heels at the beginning of WWII, at least we were prepared when we joined in.
