N. Shore Animal League America-Legit?
I received one of those mailings today and it's like PCH. Does anyone return the forms? Has anyone won?

My grandma is always filling those out. I really think it is or is similar to a creative presentation where you have little chance of winning.

I'm wondering if it is worth even trying. Has your grandmother ever won? They mentioned sending a prize too other than the cash drawing.

I used to fill those out when I was a teenager. I would send them a dollar or two. I was always getting address labels and other stuff like that. I didn't know they were still around.

Same here!
They will send you a "prize" a pack of post-its or tear apart post cards.
Never met anyone who won.

They ARE legit. I've never won. Haven't done them in years, but they indeed do help the animals.

Oh, yes!

I know several people who've adopted animals through North Shore. They have a strong "no-kill" policy. They are a wonderful organization, very much respected in this area.

NSAL is an amazing organization.

You should check out their website. My family has supported them for years. I don't know anything about their promotions though -- only their work with the animals.

Whenever I have a question about a charity, I check www.charitynavigator.org

Here is their entry for the North Shore Animal League:
