Carlo Ponti, husband of Sophia Loren and producer of more than 100 films, has died in Geneva at age 94.
Ponti discovered Sophia Loren when she was only 15 -- he was 25 years older and married. He launched her film career and later married her despite threats of bigamy charges and excommunication.

I feel sad for Sophia. She must have really loved that man.
She turned down Cary Grant for him. :) | ||
