Advice for 50 year old skin
I know I need to be using something to help my facial skin look healthy, glow, renew, whatever but there are so many products out there I don't know where to start.

I have oily skin, very few wrinkles (even my plastic surgeon remarked on that), acne prone but not too bad at my age, but I'm sure I could use some help with cell renewal, glow, whatever.

What do YOU use and what are your results?

Hi Georgie,

I'm 46 and for the past 5 years I've been using Olay Total Effects 7X. It totally transformed my skin. Have not had a break-out since, my skin is even and toned, my pores are smaller, and I just love it! I even emailed the site to tell them how happy I was with it. And, I use Regenerist facial cloths to wash my face in the evening and the Thermal Face Scrub in the shower in the a.m. I use a product called "Wrinkle Effects By Jeffry Dover" that is available at CVS on my eyes...I've been using small product samples of that and when that's done will buy the full size...no chicken bumps (milia) under the eye and really plumps up that area. Like you, I don't have wrinkles...when I'm not smiling, they're not there at all. When I am smiling, well, everyone's eye's crinkle there. Olay has come out with another product that I haven't tried yet but I'm kind of wondering what the difference is between that and the Total Effects 7X....seems like it's supposed to make you more "luminous" or whatever. If anyone has used that, let me know. As with all skin care products, one might work for one person, but be a disaster for another. You will have to do some trial and error on this one. But this works for me. Best of luck!

I swear by my Retin A, which is usually prescribed for acne. It peels your skin slightly so it acts like an exfoliant. I use it at night and then use Eucerin moisterizer with SPF 30. I use Olay daily renewal face wash, which is creamy and has tiny microbeads to exfoliate.
