Ebay sellers, I have a question for you
I would like people who sell on ebay to give me their opinion.

I bought something on Ebay and had a small problem but the seller was very nice and resolved it for me.

So I need to leave feedback and heres my question, I was going to leave something like :small problem but seller was quick to fix, ect. because my thinking was if Im buying from someone I like to know that their easy to deal with and would be willing to resolve mistakes if they made any.

But then I thought maybe sellers dont like comments like that because it might attract scammers or even turn buyers off-even though its positive feedback?

So if it was you what would you prefer?

Appreciate any thoughts on this! Thanks!

I think it will be ok if you put that...it helps people know whats going on. I'd rather see a comment about a problem, even with a positive, so I can get a better general sense of what the seller was like. And I wouldnt mind as a seller, unless it was totally unjustified (like the time I got a retaliatory negative from a seller who sold me a pirated DVD - bah!)

So I say go for it....be nice, but do mention Problem, but Quick Resolution, in whatever wording you choose

Thats what I was thinking too, every auction cant always go perfectly and as a buyer Id like to know the seller was honest and eager to resolve problems.

I was just curious if maybe it was something sellers didnt like and I just didnt know.

Thanks

I had someone leave me similar feedback. Later, several buyers told me that they bought from me because of that feedback. I was glad I had worked out the problem and that the buyer had left that feeback.

That type of comment would make me more inclined to buy from the seller!

I agree with the above posters. I like to see in the feedback if the sellers handle any problems properly. It shows good customer service on their part.

Make sure you leave the feedback comments in a POSITIVE feedback since you are happy with the seller & are satisfied. One thing that irks me is when I see comments such as those left as a NUETRAL feedback, especially since the seller handled the problem to the satisfaction of the buyer. I notice it's usually newbies to eBay with very little feedback who do that. They need to learn more before they ruin someone's reputation.

As a seller I would want you to leave positive feedback and the wording you used sounded just right.
Many, many sellers make mistakes from time to time, especially the power sellers. I think it IS positve that you let other potential buyers know that tis particular seller did you right promptly and courteously.
