Please pray for our little Carter
My grandson -
Carter Daniel Hearn Born 6/30/06 7:56 am 8 lbs 3 1/2 oz He's a big boy - but having a few problems. He aspirated during his c-section delivery and is now having some respiratory problems and his hands and feet (especially his feet) are still blue. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He looks so perfect, I will be praying for you family. My daughter was born c section also 5 months ago she had a terrible time breathing she stayed in the hospital longer then me it was terrible she also has severe reflux but her breathing improved within a couple of weeks and her reflux is getting better now also, not sure if the reflux had anything to do with her c section or breathing but you never know. Hes absolutely beautiful I'm sure he will be just fine

Thanks everyone! He is a very beautiful baby and looks so much like his big sister did when she was born. My daughter is being discharged tomorrow on "hotel status" - meaning she will still be able to stay at the hospital with the baby and the insurance will still cover her stay. The pediatrican told them this evening that he's not any better .. but hasn't gotten any worse - so that's a good thing ... but if he's not doing significantly better by Monday he will be air transferred to either to either Texas Childrens Hospital or the Pediatric ICU in Shreveport. Her main concern is that he could develop pneumonia - and/or develop infection in his feet because of circulation problems.
