How long does it take to win?
I am a patient person and just started on this site but does anyone have a theory about how many sweepstakes/time it takes until your first win? Do some people never win?
Glad to have found this web site though!!!!!!!!!!

Play the instants. I've won a few. Plau cranium, the nestle crunch game. If you wanna win the big prizes just keep working on it. eventually you may when. I've tried winning from seventeen for over a year and never have. You found the website if you wanna start winning.

Been sweeping since January. No win over $100, yet. Still think mine's RIGHT around the corner!

However, mines took longer than that. I had a really long dry spell. And still have not won anything big yet. It is fun that is why I continue to win. It makes everyday feel like Christmas, waiting to see if you got what you wanted.

I've been a member for 2 yrs....really haven't won much during that time. A few things less than $20, but I'm an eternal optimist and I just know the BIG win is just around the corner! Good luck to you and hope you have many great wins in your future.

I started sweeping again(after a 2 year break) on Aug 28-05, 3 days later I received an email that I won a really cool flashlight. That was the grand prize, lol. Then 2 days after that I was notified Iwon a DVD. I thought I was on a roll. Two wins in my first week!
Well, about 2000 contests later...month & 1/2, I won an instant for the cranium game, and a week later I won a trip to Miami/Nextel cup Nascar race.
So I'm figuring I'll be dry for quite a while...then I'll win two.

As long as you're doing it for fun...with a little hope behind it, sweeping will be worthwhile.
I really like the OlS community...so I feel like I have gotten a big bonus by being a member.

Hang in there, there are some grand prizes...and some in-between prizes with your name on them.

GOOD LUCK!! Christine

Been sweeping since august. I average about 7-8 instants per month. Last week i recieved my first of two non-instant win prize. I know there is more to come.

I think it is a matter of how much time you put into sweeping. Also luck is another factor.

I've found it takes at least 100 sweeps to get one win. Some of the wins are very small and this hasn't been a great month, but still 3 small things, and one book that looks great. Just keep entering and you will win. Try the HSBC contest. and lots of luck!
