I'm SO sad right now!!! I've been sweeping for roughly a decade, and for the bulk of those years, I've used TurboSweeps. The program has served me well, and I've had MANY wins from it. Quite frankly, I don't know what I'd do without out it. Well, now I have no choice but to find out! Last night, there was a "burp" in our electrical system in the house - not a surge, mind you, but a split-second hesitation.... just enough to restart my computer. I was in the middle of doing my dailies, so of course it was a little irritating that I had to reload everything once the computer rebooted. But, tragedy struck! TURBOSWEEPS WOULDN'T RELOAD!!!! No matter what I did, it would crash as soon as it opened! I finally broke down and deleted it off my system, ran Disk Cleanup, defragged, and turned off my computer. It's been off the entire day while I've been at work. When I got home tonight, I fired up the computer, downloaded the program and installed (both cleanly - no reinstalls, no updates).... and it happened again... crashed as soon as it loaded. WAAAAAA!!!!!
So here's where I need advice: obviously, I'm going to have to go Robo now. I took a look at it last night, but it looks SOOOOOOOOOO complicated compared to TurboSweeps. I'm very very afraid! Will some of you "pro" Robo users please guide me through this? I really have NO clue about this program, and I'm still "grieving" over the loss of Turbo. Any assistance, kind words, good juju, etc, would be greatly appreciated!
(FYI - when it crashed yesterday, I had
390 dailies listed.... now I have to start all over again! WAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
