Mississippi Clubs?

I am new here and was just wondering in there were any Mississippi clubs or if anyone would be interested in forming one. I did not see anything threads here regarding a Mississippi club. I am very much interested in joining one though.

Yeah Jackson/Madison area.....He went to Madison Central High School. Funny though he never wants to return to the South Okay let me preface that he never wants to LIVE in the South again.

Madison is a nice area. Most of the people are very wealthy & the houses in the area are gorgeous.

Why doesn't he want to live in the South again? Well.... I can think of a few things that could make him run.... Mullets (yes you will see a few) , bubbas, lots and lots of dogs living under houses and the list goes on and on. BUT.... I still love it. It isn't that bad.

I live in Jackson, MS (actually Ridgeland - which is right outside of Madison). My dear BF is from Jackson. I grew up in the Flowood, MS and went to school at Northwest Rankin in Brandon. I'd have to say that I do like it here.

I was born in Mobile, AL and only lived there while I was little. I moved to Jackson at 8 years of age, when I was put in fostercare. However, my bio family still lives in Mobile, AL. So, Mobile is really the only other place I know. Other than Florida, which is where we go on vacation to the beach!!! I love the beach and wouldn't mind living there except for those darn hurricanes. I think I would get tired of that quickly.

Where is everyone else from?

Cool. I lived in Brandon all of my life. I went to Brandon High School. I moved to Dallas, Tx a couple of years ago. I love it here. It's very busy here with plenty to do. However, for some reason I miss the simplicity of Mississippi at times. It's home, ya' know, so sometimes I miss it. I have family in the Mobile, Al area to. Alabama seems like a 2nd home to me to.

I can remember our football team playing Northwest Rankin when i was in school way back when. I wonder if we know any of the same people.

Another Mississippian here! I'm from a bit north of Jackson, but could possibly be moving there next summer (when I FINALLY graduate college)!

We just moved to Madison last week. I really like it here so far, but will probably always miss Louisiana.

My husband is from Madison, its a beautiful town...he can't believe how much its grown since he left (his parents still live there)
