Love Thy Neighbor - unless they are Muslim
From the story (look for title Suspicious Minds):

Quote:
Jesus taught Christians to "love thy neighbor." According to a recent survey by researchers at Cornell University, however, the more religious the American, the less likely he is to love (or at least trust) his Muslim neighbors.

My only comment is I am not suprised. The more religious people claim to be, the less tolerant they tend to be.

How about this item from the same site:

Half of European Consumers Distrust American Companies
GMI Poll finds international consumers’ anti-American sentiment, as a result of recent foreign policy, negatively impacts U.S. multinational companies closely branded as American

You know sadly that seems to be the case. Poor Jesus, and His true spiritual message, has been seemingly mass produced into a statement for intolerance. Guess they forgot to read the Pharisee hypocrite part. :worry:

I have muslim neighbors? Where? Who can I report this to? I'm certain I am supposed to report this to someone, somewhere.

"And here's to you, Mrs. Robinson
Jesus loves you more than you will know, wo wo wo
God bless you please, Mrs. Robinson
Heaven holds a place for those who spy, hi hi hi,
Hi hi hi

We'd like to know a little bit about you for our files
We'd like to help you learn to help yourself
Look around you, all you see are unsympathetic eyes
Stroll around the grounds until you - on second thought,
don't.

Where have you gone, John Ashcroftio
Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you, woo woo woo
What's that you say, Mrs. Robinson
Creepy John has left and gone away, hey hey hey
Hey hey hey"

Here in MrDave's article....

Quote:
nearly half(47%) of respondents believe that Islam is more likely to encourage violence compared to other religions. That percentage rises to sixty-five percent among the highly religious respondents.
I wonder what the Islamic population thinks about the gentle, non-violent approach of our "Christian" nation on their land and people. It would behoove our nation if we are going to kill and torture Muslims that we disassociate ourselves with Christianity....lest we make the world think Christ was a violent spiritual leader or we are just using Christianity to suit our political needs. Either that or the folks that are saying they are so "Christian" could start walking the walk and hold those that are using it for political purposes accountable.

Your 'Mrs. Robinson' rendition is a hoot...hort.

They read it, but, what does that have to do with them? :worry:

So Rove is on Fox News running off a bunch of numbers about Ohio counties...Megan Kelly looks at him and asks " Is this just math that you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better, or is this real" OMG LOL
