I had done a search and didn't find a local dealership, so am just THRILLED to report back to DH that he will be able to check out bikes in the MidWest! Plus, he can say he got to do ONE thing he enjoys on the trip. I have to comment that everyone is so nice and helpful, I just have to lament out loud more often to get support! Thank You!

I believe that the closest Amtrack is in Galesburg Il I am not sure how far it is from here maybe 45 minutes or so.

Nope I don't think we have every had a Amtrak go though here, if they did it was a long time ago.

Ok I saw on the web site that they say that we have a station here....ummmm I have no idea where they think that there is a train staion in Davenport but...ummmmm there's not I will have to check on this info and I will get back to everyone on this.

Those two addresses are bus stations. I wonder if Amtrak busses people to the two stations from Galesburg.
