Anyone ebay?
DALLAS -- Investigators say a 33-year-old Dallas man who's behind bars in the Richardson jail was using the name Funguy 33 on eBay and selling merchandise he ripped off mainly from sporting goods stores.

Cory Paris is accused of stealing several hundred thousand dollars worth of sports equipment. Police said he didn't take anything that was cheap, instead focusing on high-dollar items. Police also recovered chic items like Chanel purses.

Paris allegedly posted a specialty bicycle was on the Web site before it was stolen from Wheels in Motion in Richardson. Police believe he was trying to see if he had a market for the bike before committing to taking it. Paris apparently was hiding out inside the bike shop when it closed Wednesday night.

In less than 10 minutes, several thieves moved out 30 bikes. A security guard saw the activity and was able to get a partial plate number and description of the van. That tip led police to Paris.

Paris' bond was set at $500,000 for a probation violation on another theft charge. Police say it could be weeks before they trace the stolen merchandise back to the original owners.

I guess FunGuy won't be having to much fun sitting his butt in jail....

Dang, he was a power seller, lol. Check out some of the stuff that he sold...oh man...he lists himself as bring the best quality merchandise possible.

I'm sure he is not the only one that does that - eBay is an open market for people who are into this type of thing.

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (AP) -- The bathtub where James Earl Ray stood to assassinate Martin Luther King Jr. is up for sale on eBay for $150,000.

"It's a historical treasure," said D'Army Bailey, a Memphis judge and owner of the tub.

King was hit by a bullet as he stood on the balcony of The Lorraine Motel while in Memphis to help lead a strike by sanitation workers in 1968. Investigators said the shot came from a bathroom window of a boarding house 200 feet away.

I read today on another site that Ebay had removed the tub citing that they do not allow any items associated with violence. I think that was a good idea. But the guy did already have one bid for $152,000!!

As you slide down the banister of life, may
the splinters never point the wrong way.
