Thanks for the reminder As I recall Frank said his house is all white no color at all. I want to see Paige's apt in NY. Shes made comment that some of the rooms they've done were bigger than her entire apt.

There are pics of Paige's apartment on Oprah's Web site. She recently had it redone. Funny, though, she didn't pick any of the TS designers to do her place....

I've been hearing about this episode all day from my DW. We actually got to meet Paige a few months ago here in Orlando when they were doing the search for contestants for the Home Free dillio. She is even nicer in person than on TV. Spent time with folks, took pictures (with my daughter and several people) and chatted up everyone. She is a class act!

My poor mom just called 5 minutes before it started because it started STORMING like a mofo at home and took out her cable!! She was all "DO YOU KNOW WHAT STARTS IN FIVE MINUTES?!" Sucks to be her

I liked all the whole thing, didnt realize Hildies DH was OLDER and FUN...pictured her with more of a DOUG type. And The girl that's Barry's Partner...I dont think she has a clue...for some reason she gets on my nerves...she's right to she has no POP on camera...really thought KIA was a standup chickadee doing her gig with the make a wish child, that rocks. I continue to LOVE FRANK and Edward...and Carter is oh so purty but did anyone notice my main man TY was missing??????? So is he no longer a TS carpender? Ty has abs that were made in heaven Christi seems down to earth as well....Genieveve is always cool...I'm glad they did the show, it takes alot more folks than I ever realized to pull that show off.....

Dont forget who else was missing Vern Yip!!! Barry's partner doesnt pop is right! hes a cutie though Hilde's hubby what a character, I love Genevieve! She's just cool!!! Anyone else surprised by Laurie's house with all the rectangles? I thought for sure it would have beeen ornate anad gothic. And Amy Winn is just cool, too.


What carpenter and what designer would you like to hang out with for an evening?

Ty has his own show and, I think, Vern is either getting his own show or he has too much business to take time off for TS. I'm glad that other 'new' guy wasn't on, either. The one with the Halloween room on TS-Family. Guy has no taste whatsoever. Loved Doug. I think he and I are a match made in heaven.

I liked this special a whole lot more than the other one they had.

Merge is very good. I like the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy designer best of all.
Never watch Trading Spaces anymore because hardly ever liked what they did and also because they don't consider what the homeowners like. Hay on the wall....give me a break!

I went to a home show here in Houston and saw Vern in person. Just as adorable as on TV. His waiting list if 5 years long! But he is still going to be on TV, just not Trading Spaces. It's going to be on a one of the broadcast channels sort of like Ty's new show. He'll be doing the decorating end of it.

At another show, I spoke to Evan Farmer (asked him a ? from the audience!) from While You Were Out. He is totally charming. Really down-to-earth and funny. He is probably evacuating now as he is from New Orleans (even though he bought an apt in NYC). He said that this year the show is going to focus on decorating homes that need it. He said, "Who cares about a football player who makes $3,000,000 a year getting a $2,000 room makeover?" I agree. This year should be great.
