Sears/KMart Shop Your Way Rewards
Anyone who has a Sears Shop Your Way Rewards Account, check it, they sent me (and my Sister) an email saying to help out with Hurricane sandy, they added $10 to our Shop Your Way Rewards accounts. I just checked and they did and you only have until November 8th to use it.

This is the email:
Dear Nadine,

In the wake of Superstorm Sandy, I want to extend a hand during this difficult time on behalf of Sears Holdings Corporation.

In addition to the 100+ truckloads of supplies we are sending to the communities impacted by Sandy, we have added $10 in free Points to your SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDSSM account. Please use them toward whatever supplies you need from Sears and Kmart through November 8. It's a small gesture to help our SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDSSM Members.

Thank you, and stay safe.

That would be nice. I like that idea.

It might only be for those on the East Coast affected by the Hurricane.
I got mine this evening when I finally got power back. Nice!

I got it... but then I had gotten $10 last weekend that expired last Monday.. couldn't use it since it would mean a trip into town.. maybe will be able to use this one.. but our local Sears is just a little shop of mostly machinery and appliances.. We were just to Sears in the big city yesterday and picked up some warm socks.. why couldn't they have given me either $10 when I could have used it???

Time to win, win, win!!

Thanks for the heads up, but I keep checking and all there is is $.25. I kept an eye out last week too and nil. Bummer, since we have a Kmart 1/4 mile away in one direction and a Sears 1/4 mile away in another direction, so we'd surely use it.

Nadda.
as much as I buy at kmart/sears and ALWAYS put my account number in - AND - my town is devestated by the Hurricane... nothing.

they (red cross?) just put out ice and water today. Gas is way to scarce, food/heat matters most.

They emailed me earlier tonight and I immediately sent a reply email that fortunately the storm did not strike my area hard, and please use this ten bucks towards the ongoing Sears effort towards the recovery. No response from them yet.

Wishing & hoping & thinking & praying, planning & dreaming... and entering!

I think I got the email but didn't read it. I am in Ohio and used my card at Kmart last night and that money was there but I had no idea it was for this reason so I used it or I would have donated mine because we still have people here in Ohio without power and such from the storms.

Just found it on mine, I got $21 total sitting there. My fridge is bare. I think I'll check out the papergoods and condiments. I have one empty house that's going to need restocking. This will help. Thanks for the posting, nothing came in my email about it.

I don't see anywhere on the site to donate. If they sent me an email it must have gotten deleted

I bought dog and cat food at Kmart today (I had other money on the card) and donated it to the local Animal Shelter here. I called the few shelters I could find in NJ and NY and asked if I could have the food sent directly to them and they said they needed money more, so I texted ANIMALS to 20222 to donate $10 to the pet shelters and used the gift sears gave me to help animals here since we really didn't lose anything with the storm, except our power for a couple of hours.
