Coke Rewards Hacked
I had over 800 points. Yesterday I was sweeping and getting into email and I received three notices that I had redeemed most of these points for gift cards. Yikes. The first thing I did was change my pw and email CS and ask to get my points back. But then I saw that the codes for the gc were in my account on the Coke Rewards website. I did have an account at the vendor so I quickly redeemed them myself and was relieved to see that the codes were not used. I have no doubt that whoever got into my account could have used those codes without also getting into my email (which has a different pw). It was lucky for me I caught this just as it happened and at least got something for those points.

There is no way I accidentally redeemed those points, someone else did. So beware, change your pw.

Thanks for the heads up. I just changed my password.

Same thing happened to me, but I worked with MyCokeRewards, Nike.com and my local police to secure the name of the person who used 27 MyCokeRewards/Nike Gift Codes (one of which came from my account) to purchase a $535 order.

The merchandise ordered with the stolen gift codes went to:

Ivan Reyna
815 Woodrow St
Arlington, TX 76012

If you have lost your points because they were exchanged for Nike Gift Codes, MyCokeRewards will give them back to you.

On some of the Coke sweeps
Full Throttle, for example, you are still logged in after entering. When I am done sweeping I load the Coke Rewards homepage and am already signed in. I have not been able to find a way around this other than going to Coke Rewards outside of OLS and logging out.
The Coke Rewards folks have been less than stellar with me. Even though I have provided them with the names of the people who have hacked my account, they don't respond and have only refunded 1000 of 3000 hacked points.

BTW one of my hackers is named Ibrahim.

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. Someone used 250 of my points for 250 best buy reward zone points. I tried contacting mycokerewards, but have not heard back from them yet. I changed my password immediately also. I hope they will resolve this for all of us so we can get our points back!

My hack was for 3 best buy gift cards. I thwarted them by luck since I got into my account and applied the codes myself. Didn't really want BB but figured it was the thing to do.

Ugh, that's so angering!

Fortunately, they haven't gotten my points (yet). Changing PW just in case.

this happened to me also
I figured I'd try to redeem the reward I "chosen" for Nike ID -of course it had been redeemed. When I notified the Coke Rewards people, they told me they couldn't refund my points, and to change my password. It happened before to me, and they were helpful then, but not now.

I do not like their response that it is not their responsibility. I believe it is their responsibility to not only protect the accounts of customers in regards to points, but also privacy concerns.

Hackers not only had access to the coke reward points, but addresses and phone numbers as well.

MCR's response, in this case, is poor at best.
