These Chick-fil-a protests are getting out of hand
Everyone has the right to voice their opinion. As a customer you have the right not to go to that business that you don't agree with but all these protests and city banning chick fil-a from doing business which is unconstitutional is ridicules.

Just cause someone has the guts to still believe in traditional marriage doesn't mean they should be hated. These protesters are showing the same level of hate that they accuse chick-fil-a off. I for one commend chick fil-a and standing by their comments.

The same thing applies to gays who want to be able to live out their life just like you without being judged by people or corporations..I for one think its time for a change.

yes gay people should have rights like everyone else we are all American. But going after someone who does not believe in the same values as you do is not the right thing to do.

Talk with your dollars and don't give them business. But this whole protesting vandalizing chick-fila property is getting out of hand. They showed a cfo of a company heckling this poor chick-fil-a employee making her feel like crap because she works there.

Sorry, no pity from me for bigots. It doesn't take guts to "believe in traditional marriage", it takes ignorance, cowardice, and a fear of anyone different from you to be able to prevent equal rights. Christian fundamentalists are again playing the victim, when they've been the ones doing the victimizing for such a long time.

There's really something wrong with people that can't go about their lives without getting a pat on the back from total strangers saying good job. Somebody needs to get some self esteem.

Shake it off.

I so wouldn't be surprised if the Chick-Fil-A president gets caught with a boy toy.

So only Christians believe in traditional marriage? And because someone doesn't agree with you makes them a biggot ok then.

What traditional marriage is it of which you speak? The biblical one where men had multiple wives and concubines? The biblical one where if you're widowed, you have to marry your brother in law whether you like it or not? Or the biblical one where if you're a virgin and are raped, you have to marry your rapist? I hate to break it to you, but there is no such animal as "traditional" marriage. Traditionally, marriages have been polygamous, they have been arranged, they have been largely a business arrangment rather than a love match, and until very recently they involved girls who were barely into adolescence. Marriage has meant many things to many people and many cultures. Your narrow definition of it is not the only one, either historically or in the present.

Chick-fil-a gives millions of dollars to hate groups. They are giving donations to groups that think it's perfectly acceptable for Ugandans to be murdered simply for being gay. This is your idea of a "commendable" company? Disgutsting, hypocritical bigots are what they are.

I see....so, OP, you won't mind if a Mexican-American opens a strip joint next to your house, right? Yanno, since you seem to think it's unamerican and unconstitutional to ban a business.

Don't wrap your bigotry in imagined "values" and expect it not to stink for the crap it is.

I'm just sayin'....

I agree with you 100%....protesting is fine, our right as Americans, but damaging property and being violent doesn't help anything. I don't care if you're for or against the issue. Being violent isn't right.

Me thinks that hippie in the sandals, aka Jesus, would weep at the outpouring of ignorant, spiteful civil right deniers, making children created in his likeness, suffer for loving one another.

Love is magical as is a good marriage. It belongs to all of us, should be celebrated and embraced by those lucky enough to have found it

I disagree. It takes a lot more guts to stand by your convictions these days than to give into the social/political/media-driven pressures to change.
