I was just reading an article today about all the very long days film crews, directors, and actors put in each day during production. It's not unheard of to put in 16 hour days they say. Whew!!
thank you!!! Oh yeah, production is long hours. Usually you try not to go over 12 hour days. But a long day can go to 16 or 17 hours. For me it was hard because I was producing the movie too... and we didnt have all of the cast or locations --so after I'd get off working, I'd have to continue to do auditions, or do a locations scout and then all the paperwork that goes with it. PLUS we had a little musical number in it..so I had to work with the composer to write the song while we were already shooting!! I lost 10 pounds during the month we shot, because there was no time to eat or sleep! (I have since gained it back! hahaha)
