Victoria, so glad you and Caleb are ok. That makes me so angry when people drive distractedly like that. I bet Caleb was so scared.

I still have this $25 Canvas Pop gift code if anyone wants it!

D'Andra- so glad you are there to support your sister. Tell her to hang in there!
Leigh, I'll take it if no one else wants it, I've always wanted to try getting one of my photos put on canvas, and their prices seem pretty reasonable.

I received some awesome St Paddy's green SMF Love

Thank you's go out to:

TINA - love the Hallmark e-greet I think that is Hoops & YoYo not sure but I do love those characters - they are soooo adorable. Took me a bit to figure out how to stop the music - LOL, the shamrock that was second from the left was driving me crazy! Too cute!

LISA - You caught me on the confetti! LOL Love it and the handmade card was very sweet.
Appreciate you taking the time out to include me. Hope things are falling back in place for you.

GAYLE - The Leprechaun had me in a BIG SMILE when opening him up! Green Beer always makes me laugh. I remember living in Savannah, GA and experiencing my first St Paddy's day there. I was so in awe of how they would color the fountain water green. At the time they said Savannah's partying & parade was second to New York. I remember also, that we got the day off of work, because of the craziness. The best part was the office was downtown,(very near the square where Forrest Gump sat on the bench) and I had a key and was able to use the bathroom there. That was my favorite place of all to live. Great Memories!!!

DEB - My *evil* confetti friend. I know each piece is filled with love and friendship. Thank you girl! So glad you are feeling better and able to have the energy to send SMF love my way. Keep on keepin on - getting stronger every day Lady!

I am going to have to go see a orthopedic doctor. I have some kind of soft tissue damage in my right leg and knee. Guys insurance company wants to set up a meeting to come and talk with us and have us sign papers. Mom delt with him yesterday since I was in a lot of pain and told him that we were not signing nothing right now until we know the scope of what is going on with my leg. Caleb, Bella, and I were suppose to be in Parade today and ride the float with his Karate Class. He is so upset that we can't go. I am just thankful that it was not worse. We came within inches of being hit head-on when we were pushed into the other lane from the crash.

So glad Caleb is doing better. Hope you can get some relief for your injuries.
That is WAY too soon, for their insurance to be trying to have you sign papers. My settlement for my injuries from 1/13/12, wasn't settled for two months. Gave plenty of time to have treatment, and determine no further care was needed.

The only thing I can think they would/should work with you on is regarding your vehicle damage and getting it repaired/replaced, and a rental during that time. Since that part is separate and a more immediate need.

Wishing you a smooth process in healing and resolution with the insurance company.

WoW, quiet in here today. Nothing much going on in the Summers house. Kids played at the park for a couple hours. I did loads of laundry and sorted the pool toys and towels and cleaned out the storage bin in prep for SWIMMING! I can't wait. It will probably be another couple of weeks, but I'm ready.

Did I thank Lisa and Deb for the St Paddy cards? I think I forgot - THANK YOU!

My allergies are kicking my booty.... my eyes feel like I could scratch them out of my head. Seriously, I love spring, but the allergies are awful. I just realized I could use the eye drops the Dr suggested 4 times a day! Ahhhhh....

Promised the kids a mango smoothy later, Keith got some super ripe and tasty ones 4 for a $1 yesterday. Then we have to get them into bed and ready for school tomorrow. Glad that will be Keith and not me! Won't be pretty

Hope everyone had a Great Sunday!!

Anyone else want to get in the drawing? If not, I'll have Jim pick three names tomorrow!

So far I've got these SMF members listed, let me know if I've missed anyone, or if you haven't entered yet. I'll have Jim pick three names out of the hat this weekend, and hopefully mail out the bookmarks next week.

Was just thinking about you and wondering how the Tenure thing is going, when will you find out? If I missed you posting an update, I am sorry for being an airhead. I just know how hard you worked towards it and on the final presentation.

Also I was going through some patient charts the other day and one had your name on it.
When I saw across the top it said Dr. M........ I just smiled thinking about you.

Good Morning Kath! Thanks so much for thinking of me. It is comforting to know that y'all care about my world.

My binders/application for tenure and promotion were signed by my Chair and the Dean in December, the Provost in January and the Tenure and Promotion Committee...well...NOW! I have my interview with the committee next week and then the final step is the President's signature (but he generally follows the lead of the TeP committee).

So...not much longer now! They generally notify in June to sign a tenured contract for July 1st!

Thus far, I've gotten very positive feedback and assurances that I have nothing to worry about, but you know how it is...I won't be able to exhale until the signed contract is in my hand. I'm looking forward to the relief of job security, but the Blockhead just keeps mumbling, "show me the money!" (I promised to fund the building of a brick outdoor fireplace on the patio if I get my tenure/promotion salary increases.)

How are things in your world? I feel bad for your Dr. Mc...trekkies always call us Bones!

GOOD MORNING!

Thanks Tina-for the adorable St. Pattys day e-card.
I did have some luck that day. There was 2 coupons in the mail for FREE jolly-time popcorn that I won.

I didn't get a chance to mail out anything last week. Some (minor) car issues, and never made it the P.O.

Here's the question of the week-What is the most money you have ever found lying on the ground in a public place?

I would have to say $20.oo.

Hope everybody has a great week, and GOOD-LUCK!

That is a LONG process. Even with all the great feedback, I don't know if I could stay off pins and needles while waiting for things to be *official*.
And realizing that the time frame will be here before we know it and half way to Christmas......... oh the time does go soooo very fast....yet so very slow

LOL on Bones........though I have to say for some reason I think of Spock first when it comes to trekkies. We only watched it because my brother liked it. Back in the day when you were lucky to have one TV in the household and if it was color you were in the big time.

I'm enjoying my day off today. Listening to the thunderstorms outside, while listing on Amazon and organizing some space to store the inventory. It's early but with my weird schedule, I just had some chicken dumpling soup that was delish and perfect for the stormy day even though the temp is not that chilly.

Wishing you and everyone a Marvelous Monday!
