That stinks. I hope sponsors take note of this and do away with Facebook voting. I prefer a panel of judges voting on their favorite.

You can report people on facebook for not being a real person. Not sure if that works on these, though. It is the gear button drop down on the top right, next to the messages button. Worth a try...

I don't bother with voting contests because of this.

I got an email from someone offering to sell me 1000 votes for my contest. Not sure how they even got my direct email address since we're not facebook friends, but I didn't ask and deleted the email without responding to rid myself of the creepy feeling the email brought. (It's not showing in my deleted items, otherwise I would post the details here)

Wasn't there a thread a while ago & someone linked to a site that took bids for voting contests? I remember because there were even people who took bids for FB & would guarantee X number of 'real' accounts with 'real' names, etc. It blew me away.
