The lines were long because at each station you had to count the Stamps/postcards/envelopes etc and then count out tickets. You had to stand in line to go from one area to the next.

That is why we are asking you to bundle your entries with a 3x5 paper so we will not have to count out tickets (except for lottery tickets and cash). We are allso planning multiple stations so that there will not be one long line.

It was fun at the last convention to see people in some weird get ups. I am glad they are having that again.

I see you are well organized and am eager to be there. What is June weather like?

Last year they had orange juice, coffee, and food to eat in the morning. I cannot eat gluten and wheat products so I did not take note of what was served except one lady had a little plate with 2 or 3 pastries on it. Friday night they had mixed nuts, corn chips and salsa.

So Joe will you be doing the same this year?

What is the proper pronunciation of Moline, "Mow lean" or "Mow line"?

In San Diego people where dressed in many styles at the "formal" dinner. Most where just "nice" clothes. Some wore formals, some wore dressy, some wore nice, & some came in casual. Sweepers do not seem to discriminate based upon clothing styles, and everyone seemed to have a great time regardless of their attire. I will be happy just to meet people who know what I am talking about & understand that thrill of winning!

LUCK & LOVE!

Thank you as where I live the street is called "pee o nair o" which is actually Pioneer.
I did not want to come to town and insult them by calling it Mow Lean ay as my neighbors would call it.

Last year I saw a girl wearing hip huggers. I will be like usual Sweeper Butt stretch pants and a blouse. I might even trade the flip flops for real shoes.

Some of these questions are hilarious! A sweepstaker without an internet connection would be dreadful! Can you imagine the withdrawal symptoms?

What is the demographic at these conventions?

Kb can you check on Gluten and soy free foods at the convention. I absolutely cannot have soy sauce, wheat, barley, oats, rye, malt, maltodextrin, and any soy products. I do eat a smidge of soy occassionally like soy lecithin or a salad dressing on a special occassion but will pay dearly for doing that.

Last convention was not a problem but this one has a boxed lunch which usually has bread. I cannot take the meat off the bread as that leaves crumbs that make be sick.

I do not need help otherwise and found lots of place that I can eat at. Just worried about the convention.
