Ravzie's Reno thread
I have been boring everyone throughout the other threads with all of my projects. Thoughts get scattered, I don't remember what picture is where if I want to mention it again, etc. I think it would be best to put that stuff here in one place, so nobody else has to scroll by all of my stuff if they aren't, and they shouldn't be, LOL, interested in my ramblings.

So, to refresh, here's what I am looking to achieve:

I have just ordered 2 of these lights to go over the vanity and want to order these for the recessed fixtures I have - if they will work. My soon to be decided contractor will have to tell me if they will work.

Home Depot totally dropped the ball reordering the toidy that arrived broken. I had to place a new order for that much needed fixture.

I am going to investigate wall mounts for the tv in a few minutes and figure out if the bathroom will have DirecTv in there or not. A Roku tv will be okay and I think I can get a tv with the DirecTv app already installed.

Off to Best Buy!

This is a good idea to have your own thread about the renovations.

Is this your master bath, Ravzie?

I'm still at a complete loss about how I want to set up my master bath when we build the new house.
Everything else is on the plans...except for that one room!
We don't have a master bath now, just a shared one, so I am really looking forward to it - if I can just figure out the layout!

Mine will be in the shape of a long rectangle, though...not a square like yours.

Yes, this is the master. I am going to delete the entries in the other threads and pull the other pictures here.

I think a long rectangle might be easier to figure out. You don't need a lot of room in the middle. Good luck! Let me know if I can help in any way, since I am such a pro and all.

Thank you gals for indulging me!

I bought this lil tv today and the wall mount. It is, in fact, white. That was not my primary focus. I wanted a nice Roku tv that had a known brand name, good reviews, a decent price and the ability to return/get service locally. The white was a bonus that fits my color scheme well. It could have only been better if it was oil rubbed bronze. And free, LOL.

I finally have 3 good estimates. I will have to see who I think will do the best job for the best price with the least amount of delay and hassle. It's really a hard call for me since I have chosen poorly before....

I'm certainly not good at making decisions, but I hope that you will come up with a good one soon.

I keep vacillating on the three top contenders. Not one has all points I favor. I need to make a call and be done with that part.

Have you written down what you like about each one, and maybe what you don't like? Maybe seeing their pluses and minuses on paper would be helpful.
