I had some cocoa on hand and decided to go for it- IMO it is much better than the instant preparations.

After reading this article I must wonder why Mister Ed spoke English rather than native American or Spanish?

Did you follow that recipe? I don't remember using vanilla extract when I made it from scratch, but It was so long ago, so I don't know what exact ingredients I used.

I only have almond milk in the refrigerator right now. I wonder if that would make good cocoa?

AFAIK that is the original recipe from years ago but today I did not use vanilla nor add salt. Rather than whole milk, which I rarely buy anymore, I had a can of condensed milk, adding it after mixing the dry ingredients with hot water.
Almond milk should also work fine (you could call it Almond Joy).

I've used almond milk while making ice cream in my little Ninja blender, so I guess it can be used in most recipes that call for milk.

I wonder if monkeys like roasted chestnuts?

Chestnuts might be better than other things monkeys have been known to throw.

I haven't had breakfast yet, but I could go for a lemon cupcake.

I've never really had an ugly sweater. How about you?

Sweaters, sweatshirts, or even long sleeved shirts are not my style. I generally wear t shirts or polo shirts all year long.

I have some sweatshirts and sweaters, but I haven't worn any in years. In the house, I mostly wear short sleeved t-shirts. I will wear a long sleeved t-shirt if I go out in the winter.
