I think I won one prize from a December 31 ending sweep two years ago, but nothing since and not that many prior ones either.

I guess there is no mail tomorrow, so we will have to wait an extra day to see if anything arrives.

Yesterday was the man’s birthday. I made a fancy breakfast and his favorite dinner. Heated up leftovers for lunch, but pretty much spent the whole day in the kitchen.

Preparing meals, especially fancy/complicated ones, can be quite time consuming. I'm sure that your hubby appreciated your work.

To change the subject, awssm had a question. Yesterday was Rubber Ducky Day. He wonders if you have a rubber ducky in your new, fabulous tub.

Is he afraid to ask me such a question?

No, no rubber duckies. But lots of bubbles.

I guess he thought it might be better for me to ask you?

I'm not sure that I ever had a rubber ducky in my bathtub when I was a kid. I suppose I had some kind of toys in there, though.

Bubbles are good.

I like them in Bellinis and Mimosas too.

I am listening to an audio book while I sweep. I just heard the narrator say, "......he grabbed his gun, flipped off the safety, and hurried down the hallway..."

In my mind is a guy with a gun making an obscene gesture to a football player.

But that's just me.

I think that is just you. I didn't get the football connection or the other meaning of flipped off until you mentioned it.

There is no accounting for the jumble that exists in my head.

Right now, the jumble is being impeded by the congestion.

I wondered how you were feeling today. On Yahoo last night, there was an article about natural remedies for the flu. I think one involved oregano oil, and there were two others mentioned. I have no idea if any of that would work or help people. I know that you have to be cautious about alternative treatments. Maybe you could find that article on their news feed.
