I see Speckled King snakes in my yard all the time, but almost never see any other species.

King snakes eat other snakes, so they are "good" snakes, but I'd still probably kill myself trying to get away from one.

I was squirting the black snake with the hose the other day to get him away from the house. He was right at the air conditioner unit and I was afraid that he would get in it somehow. I kept squirting him until he slithered into the neighbor's yard.
