We live in a small house, on the edge of a smaller city. We just have a front stoop, we hang out in our backyard, in our garden We have a nice view and lots of wildlife. Every room in our home needs repainting, new floors and windows...hope we are able to paint the outside this fall.( all original from 1985) I so need a new stove...

Very grateful to have a home.
We have an older brick ranch which needs painting inside and outside. No front porch unfortunately. The house was built in 1957 and most everything is outdated except for the bathrooms. We live in a small city but our lot is 1/2 acre. Oddly enough we have a lot of deer in our yard and rabbits.
My husband is doing pretty much all the work. We had someone hang our french doors and we had a new electrical panel put in by a master electrician.
Other than that my husband is doing all the work. I doubt we'll be painting the outside this year, not enough time.
I feel grateful as well to live in a nice place!

I so love brick homes...and 1/2 an acre that is such a great size yard! You and your hubby have done such a nice job...
We also have many deer, lots of turkeys - used to see beautiful pheasants. We enjoy watching the birds of prey...black bear, bob cat and cougar are in the area.

I won it too, but it was a Premium sweepstakes, so we probably shouldn't name it here, lol.

Now I have to figure what to paint also!

MrsWW, I am happy for you as well. Paint has become expensive over the past several years...two gallons covers a lot of area.

I just read triple*eee thread on "adult car bingo" ideas she and others are going on a road trip to:

Pioneer Woman's place in Oklahoma first and then to Waco Tx to visit the Chip and Joanna Gaines Magnolia stores/bakery etc..

Think of all the decorating ideas they can glean and what neat items they might buy...

Oh how I hope they have Fun!
