Twilight.

Perfect for the intended audience, like the screaming 12-year-olds, which helped make it a bit more entertaining. My 11-year-old and her friends thought it was "awesomz," as they like to say.

This is the first time in a long time that the makeup really distracted me. I kept thinking about pancake foundation and student films.

I wanted more teeth, vampires, werewolves, and blood.

It looks terrible, and it sure is getting bad reviews. This review is pretty humorous-

I'm a sucker for vampire stuff but I think I'll skip this till it hits cable.

I saw Twilight Friday, it was good. I loved the books, so that helped. I don't think I would have liked it if I didn't know everything else about the story from reading it. My husband thought it was ok, but not enough action for him. I think the next installment will be better with more money going towards making it.

That is hysterical! That's one of the funniest reviews I've ever read. It confirms some of my suspicions about this movie.

I am being bullied into reading the first book, and I hate it. I don't think I would have even liked it at age 13 because although I was into vampires at that age, I was reading Anne Rice. Sure, it's not great literature, but at least Anne Rice knew how to tell a story. I might watch Twilight when it's on cable, but no guarantees.

I've said for years that Anne Rice is a bad writer but a good storyteller. Her style is pretty cheesy but she comes up with (some) pretty good plotlines and characters.
