There is a Nene meme for every situation. For that, I am grateful.

I LOVE the end of the year sweepstakes purge. So many possibilities, ditching all the sweeps that were annoying to enter. Ditching the ones you have seen for months on end. Clean slate! In with the new!

I made my airline reservations to go visit my oldest daughter, two granddaughters and my great-granddaughter.

My great-granddaughter has just turned two years old and I am just missing her so much. I hate living across country from her but at least I get to hop on a plane every couple of months to go see her. She's just too adorable these days and I absolutely love hearing her say "Gram Maw" with her deep Southern accent.

Plus I will also be meeting by oldest daughter's new beau. He's a chef that works for the magazine 'Southern Living' and a little birdie ( my youngest granddaughter ) told me that he's planning on cooking for me one night when I am back there visiting. Yum!

I am not letting my depression keep me from getting things done. I made it to work today, for that I am thankful

I love my new little house. I'm drowning in cardboard and styrofoam and there seems to be an endless amount of work to do and i'm tired all the time, but its so peaceful here and seems like a pretty safe neighborhood. 8:00 and I'm ready for bed.

I still have boxes and it is 2 years later.

But step by step, I am getting rid of stuff I don't need, and only buying what I really need and LOVE.

Good luck in your new home.
