Rhinelander cheese fondue served with chunks of french bread and dark rye.
Schnitzel and spatzle. Wish me luck, have never made any of these. (fondue yes, this kind no)
Fondue is such a fun thing to eat, I wonder if people still make it very often....

Kiddos are eating across the street, hotdogs with chili and cheese I took over earlier.

Hubster and I are having:
Venison sausage pozole topped with sharp cheddar, sour cream and diced tomatoes
hot buttered corn bread.

Yesterday, we had a very late dinner since I was gone most of the day and then last night we got to meet our niece for the first time that has been in foster care.

We had chicken in a mushroom cream sauce with mashed potatoes, green beans and corn. Today we had Greek style chicken burgers with baked golden yukons.

We are having leftovers of last nights Pork spare ribs with white wine and saurkraut (made in my new dutch oven). And remains of last nights tossed salad.

Monday night I am making shrimp and chicken stir fry with white rice.

I haven't made fondue in ages. I love it. DH and I were talking about how it would be fun to have a fondue pot, since usually I just make it in a regular pot.

Mmmmm, fiction. My favorite!

I just use a mini electric chafing dish (from the 70's I think judging by the color) cook it in the pot and dump it in there and keeps perfect temp.

Since my hunny left for work last evening, I had the leftover soup from yesterday's lunch, to which I added a can of beef broth.

Here are the other ingredients from Saturday:

Leftover broth from Friday nite's pressure cooked roast beast--made from Lipton's Beefy Onion Soup Mix.
Leftover tomato gravy from Thursday nite's swiss steak--I'd also used a bag of frozen garden tomatoes when I made it Thurs. in the cast iron frying pan--nummy.
Can of tomato soup.
Cut up leftover steak from the swiss steak.
Can of corn.
Can of peas.
Some barley.
Some spices I threw in from the cupboard--garlic, chili power, paprika, onion.

This is the one I got last year. But I haven't used it.

Tonight:
Hubster made a run by the Asian supermarket and come home with heads on Gulf Shrimp and fresh Clams.
He made a fabulous clam and shrimp dish with white wine, butter, garlic, sauteed red peppers and finished with tomatoes over angel hair pasta. Yum, Yum, Yum. Who needs a recipe?
That's a nice one too. Mine is a little different, not sure of the brand, I just know its a 10 quart. My husband took a big interest in it, he even read the book. LOL

I know you keep kosher but I do love stuffed dates wrapped in bacon. Do you have a good recipe for them you wouldn't mind sharing that does not include pork?

Thanks lovey!

I had to change my weekly menu due to the fact that I used my pamper chef stone to make the lasagna last night and I can not freeze it
