DH and I had a big lunch (unusual for me) and have no desire for dinner tonight.

But... I browned stew meat and chopped vegetables for the slow cooker for tomorrow.

I hope the Beef Stew turns out great! At least the house will smell wonderful

I thought we were going to have 15 bean and ham soup but even after a long overnight soak and a day of simmering one of the beans was stubbornly still not cooked well ... I think it is what some call cranberry bean, I forget where I got them but they are like a light pink kidney bean but smaller ... anyway I kept that soup going until 8:30 pm or so and finally they too are cooked.

Anyway so tonight we had ham & cheese omelets (with jalepeno for me, not for my wife), with some hashbrowns. I would have loved some mushrooms to saute to add in (or asparagus) but they were good anyway.

I won't lie, the curious cat in me went googling for the term "Mille Feuille Pastry". Glad I did! YUM! That "have fork, will travel" goes both ways!! haha

Last night I was in a lazy mood & had ppl here watching sports. So, for dinner I made the following:

6lbs of chicken wings. Slightly seasoned & baked throughly.

While they baked I created a tangy, spicy sauce made with lots of garlic.. So delish!

Once they were done, I slathered those lil bad boys with sauce & cooked them for just a few moments in a large frying pan.

I also made homemade coleslaw, macaroni salad, I made a spread of celery & fresh blue cheese dressing, And for dessert - Left over chocolate chip cookies & a big bowl of freshly made butter popcorn.

Nothing fancy! But seriously, those wings were crazy good.

Last night, BBQ pulled pork sandwiches and chips. Cooked in the slow cooker all day and was wondeful!

Tonight, Breakfast...pancakes with bacon and eggs.

I was hoping ds would want to brave the cold and go to the store, but that's a no go. Luckily we have stuff from Costco.

Frozen Kirkland cheese pizza topped with fresh onions, peppers and jalapeņos.

Mozzarella sticks
