Just as Carol said, your schedule will be full of all kinds of sweepstakes-like activities....from speakers, to making new friends, to winning some outstanding prizes!

I would recommend that you leave the kids with a relative or sitter for the weekend. I realized last year that I needed a weekend for myself and allowed myself to let go for two nights.

Hersheypark is not open, however there's a nice shopping area nearby and Hershey Chocolate World will be open. But, your schedule will be so packed with exciting sweepstaking events--- that if you would like to visit more of Hershey, I would recommend staying another night or arriving early.

If you plan on bringing your child(ren) or spouse, make sure they are at least 13 years of age. Many spouses act like they are 10, but if their actual age is 13+, they will be most welcomed.

While most of us OLSers will be sticking together, you will make new friends and be most impressed by their dedication to this hobby.

We wanted registration to be opened by the middle of January ---and it happened.

The next step is vendor registration and making a schedule of events.

As Carol can tell you, planning something like this is a lot of hard work. We have dedicated ourselves to ensuring that this will be a most enjoyable experience for everyone. Last year was my very first such convention, and I was so impressed by the dedication of Carol and her team.

Yeahhh!! My check went out today and I made my reservations yesterday and then amended them today so I can go up on Thursday afternoon and relax at the hotel for the rest of the day.

Adriantia -- so glad to see that you are coming. I've been talking with Aimee McNamara and she is coming too!! Wooo hoo!!

Polled my club yesterday and there is I believe six of us coming already. Not all were in attendance and some still have to wait for vacation schedule, etc. So that's half of us anyway.

Where's everyone else??? Check-in time please!!

HOORAY!! AIMEE IS ON THE LOOSE!! I'll be there on Thursday if all goes as planned so we can hang once you get there. I'm sure there'll be others coming in on Thursday like last year. Except this year I can't wait to P A R T Y my butt off. OLSers are on the loose=== look out. And I'm going to be able make the pizza party this year!

Rob you'll still have to help us organize it though. Know you won't have a minute to spare once you get on site but we'll take it once it gets rolling. (the pizza party that is)

Yes, you are correct. With the schedule of events, Sunday evening would be the only day available to go to Halloween in Hershey.

Sue

I wrote about my mom, the link is on http://www.abazias.com/contests/ and hit View Contestants, she is the first on Susan Bogush.

I have never asked for any votes, but I have voted. Even if you don't vote, please read this story if you have a minute, I would really love it people would know just how great my mom is. The Story is under Susan Bogush. I believe it is now on page 1

Thanks,
Susan
