Do you avoid some sweep terms like a plague?
So if I see a sweepstakes and it has a company like credit or loan in the title I avoid those like a plague because I don't trust them at all.

Are you the same way ?

No, depends on what it is most I have seen are cash which is the best. I never enter for things I don't want to win but if it's a mortgage/loan pay off that is useless to me since I don't have either anymore

Yes, if the website name is something like Wincashnow.com I avoid those.

Not exactly like the plague but...
I don't know why but at every site I open, my computer comes up with a symbol that says whether or not it is SECURE. I assume it is checking for HTTPS. Anyway if it doesn't come up as secure, I think twice. I may or may not enter.

Timeshare sponsored sweeps. No way I'm giving them my contact info and permission to contact me.

Most of the above, except I do some creative presentations. I'm thinking about losing a bunch of them, though - just a huge waste of time.

I avoid timeshares and newsletters for the most part. If I see the company listed as a "resort" in the title, I normally won't enter unless I do some research first.

Timeshare ones, Playboy type ones.

I don't avoid them, but I don't like when I have to input my date of birth every day to enter a candy sweeps.
