I finally ended up getting all (3) reporting agencies to freeze my credit. One I had to call and the other two I did online.

Same here...one by phone and 2 online....took days (and hours!) for each one, but I have finally gotten a letter from two of them, confirming the freeze...just waiting for the third one to come in the mail.

Only one sent a letter and that's because I did the freeze on the phone.

The two that I did online gave me the pin code right there and said I would not receive any mail.

Ok, that's probably it, we did all of ours online, so they didn't have to send the pins. Was a littlle worried they might have gone to our old address.

I heard the hackers were sending the online traffic to a bogus site. Are you sure the site you went to was legit?
