I dont know how to decorate my hallway. One side of it has silver framed family pics, the other I was going to put black framed family pics. But I am thinking that will look stupid, I also like wood color frames, I need to know how to use them all together with out it looking terrible. Any ideas?

Hi, you could easily use a product called something like rub and buff on the silver frames *craft area)...I've not used it myself but some of the blogs people have mentioned it on their blogs...I don't know if it works on plastic, ceramic, wood, metal - some folks use spray paint to re-do items...hopefully you'll find info searching google... how to transform picture frames ...I think a hallway is a natural spot to have a photo gallery! Hope you have fun decorating...

Yes, it is called rub n buff !

3 websites to look through, varitey of items Hardware, lighting, fabrics
Eing my frugal self I was looking for some bargains...
If you are redoing your kitchen or bathroom cabinets, drawers etc or a dresser there are some nice great priced knobs and pulls, two of the links have nice blogs as part of their website fabrics, lighting too....good resourses one of the links has clearance fabric some 100% cotton for $4 yard, even on that is organic cotton fabric for $4.25 yard some other farbric is more...suitable for clothes,

https://www.dlawlesshardware.com/clo...-hardware.html
I googled Cabinet knobs for $1 or under and found some for a dollar or under! Several on this page.

https://blog.dlawlesshardware.com/#j...UIJuCm34QcOSjI
their blog -informative and they show some finish projects
and they have a diy accessory area

https://www.knobdeals.com/ckp-brand-...yABEgIovfD_BwE

fun website to look around...
Flying Bulldogs, Inc. offers a broad range of products for you & your home. Fabric for Apparel, Quilting, Home Decor & Crafts, Bath Hardware, Cabinet & Drawer Pulls & Knobs, Door Hardware, Home Decor Items, Building Hardware, and much more. Lighting too!

flying Bulldogs has 6 pages of $1 knobs
https://www.flyingbulldogs.com/cabin...ls-1-00-under/

they also have a blog!
diy using laminate fabric (Not oil cloth) -picnic table tablecloth, they show a darling little rain slicker for a child, etc I though gosh a person could make darling placemats! or maybe this might work as a removeable backslpash in a rental kitchen? Just don't use near the stop top!!! could probably be mounted with either velco or that sticky 2 sided tape or that putty stuff?
https://www.flyingbulldogs.com/blog/...fabric-692113/

they have quailty fabric, Amy Butler, Ty Penington, etc
I like some of the sale fabric!
