Anyone here with toilet knowledge?
I was wondering if anyone can help me out. The toilet takes 40 minutes to fill up because the water trickles out. This is the setup... if anyone knows of a way I can fix this to make the water fill up fast that would be awesome!

Not an expert, but you may want to check your water line to make sure it's not leaking. Other than that, you may need to replace the pump, which is the black part I believe.

the big black thing with the grey pipe is a flush valve you get it at home depot for under 15 it gets changed with a pair of pliers.

they go bad when they get filled with sand and or dirt from the main on the street very common very easy fix

The black/gray part is called the fill valve, minerals can build up inside the water lines and break free to clog small passages inside the valve. You can shut off the water to the toilet and take apart the fill valve and clean it (there are probably u tube videos). New fill valves cost around $10.
