Dental Question - Dr. Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique
My dentist recommended this procedure for receding gum. Trying to find information on it, most of it seems from dental offices offering this procedure. I am wondering if this method is being pushed to recoup some of the cost dentists have to be certified in this procedure. Cannot find any long term results. Does anyone have any experience with this procedure? Not sure if I should get second opinion. On their website, if you a looking for a participating dentist in your area, you have to give them all your information including telephone number. Normally, when you look for a doctor or dentist, you only have to put in Zip and no personal information

I think a lot of dentists are dishonest. I would ask around to your friends and co-workers for an honest dentist for a second opinion.
